Good Night Pediatrics appoints experienced pediatric doctor to important position

Phoenix, AZ – It takes a dedicated person to go into the field of pediatrics, so when Harvey J. Simon, M.D., J.D., F.A.A.P. joined the staff of Good Night Pediatrics in August 2006, it was a perfect match. Today, Good Night Pediatrics is pleased to announce Dr. Simon’s appointment as its new Chief Medical Director.

With more than thirty years of experience, Dr. Simon has an extensive background in pediatrics, making him the perfect choice for the director position. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Simon on board,” said Good Night Pediatrics CEO, Dr. Michael McQueen. “His experience and proven leadership skills will bring a new energy to our mission of ensuring that children have access to a pediatrician throughout the night, too.”

Dr. Simon has held positions at prestigious places like the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine. He was appointed Medical Director of Project Pryme, a maternal and child health program in New York, and successfully converted it to the Joseph P. Addabo Family Health Care Center. He has been a pediatric medical consultant for the Department of Health and Human Services, giving his insight to programs at the local, state and federal levels.

In addition to his medical successes, Dr. Simon is also an accomplished attorney, having practiced law in New York City for several years. He has represented special-needs children and done labor and employment law. He is a graduate of New York Medical College and the Touro College Law Center, is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the New York Academy of Medicine.

About Good Night Pediatrics:

Kids don’t pay any attention to business hours. They get the sniffles, flu, earaches, and cuts at all hours of the night! Until now, a parent’s only option was to take the kids to the emergency room if they got sick after hours. But those days are over. Good Night Pediatrics clinics are open from 5pm-5am every night of the year, including weekends and holidays. Common ailments don’t have to mean an expensive trip to the ER—Good Night Pediatrics accepts most major insurance plans, AHCCCS, and offers discounts for cash pay patients. Every patient is seen by a Pediatrician, and X-ray and laboratory services are available on-site. Good Night Pediatrics provides services for children through age 18. There are three valley locations to serve you: at 103rd Avenue & McDowell, at 3rd Street & Baseline, and in the East Valley on the southwest corner of Baseline & Higley.
