Good Night Pediatrics Literacy Program
| |
At Good Night Pediatrics (GNP), we are committed to improving literacy and encouraging kids to discover the joy of books. The artwork in our clinics features well known characters from children’s literature, and at the end of each patient visit, we encourage each child to take home a book from our in-clinic library.
In order to continue providing free books for children, we depend on the generosity and kindness of several organizations and many selfless individuals. If you have donated books to us in the past, THANK YOU!
We would like to extend a special thanks to Reading Tree, a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to provide books for children, and has been the largest supplier of books to GNP. The success of our free book program is due in large part to their support. You can learn more about their impressive organization at http://www.readingtree.org.
We would also like to thank Fry’s Food & Drug for their generous support in providing space for the Reading Tree donation book bins. If you know of any other businesses or organizations that would be willing to host a donation receptacle for Reading Tree, please send an e-mail to info@goodnightpeds.com.
If anyone would like to donate books directly to GNP, feel free to simply drop books off at your nearest Good Night Pediatrics clinic. Please note that donations to GNP are not tax deductible. 100% of the donated books will be given out free to our patients.
